I am an international PhD student doing medical research to help preterm infants breathe Metallica The Big Box Of Metallica Double DVD Collector’s Set Shirt But I will love this better. I’m also Asian. My wife’s Aussie grandparents (she’s 50/50 Asian/White) weren’t too pleased that she was marrying an Asian, and potentially further “diluting their blood”. My extended family (those who were still alive) were super pleased I was marrying an Indonesian woman. I dunno. Maybe they thought free trips to Bali and lots of sate chicken. 😉 (they actually did get a lot of sate chicken). But I imagine some of the grandparents would have been less welcoming. They were not around to test the theory. Imagine racially discriminating against someone who is wearing a hijab, as a storeperson who works adjacent to Sydney Road. I started working with a kiwi who just arrived here and one of our first convos was how he noticed straight away how racist Aussies are. It’s honestly fucked. I’ve at a tram stop with my Korean friends, and spat on by some Aussie junkie saying shit about Australia and deformation. It honestly made no sense. Just foul. Unfortunately far far more common that you’d think. So much of it is in the closet but then it sneaks out when they find themselves in a particular context.

Yeah, but then those nazis marching were mostly not-boomers. No point replacing one bit of prejudice with another. It’s a cross-generational issue. On a serious note like everyone has said, report this to head office as this is NOT acceptable. No one should be treated like that. One only has to look at the Metallica The Big Box Of Metallica Double DVD Collector’s Set Shirt But I will love this racist fucks commenting on news about the K’gari (Fraser Island) name change. Absolutely disgusting, and happily display their full name/profile pic. I hope your mate reports these people, but understand why she is hesitant, it is confronting standing up to this shit. The larger issue is the oppression of women in that religion and culture, to the point that they willingly participate. That, my dear, is the elephant in the room. The only way to stop this crap in big stores is legal action toward Target and Woolies for supporting their employees by not taking action. Every part of these stores are covered by security cameras therefore someone was viewing the incident and should have reported it to the bosses. I know I’m naive in this area. I’m an immigrant and work in construction and racism is rife. I experience it on an almost regular basis. The only difference between now and in the past is that in the past it was more blatant and noticeable, now its far more subtle and under the covers ..and it eventually shows itself. Through years of negative experiences I’ve learned ..that racism isn’t just about skin colour it runs far deeper and it isn’t just about Australia as I’ve experienced racism in many of the countries I’ve visited. Racism is driven by fear. Fear of the unknown, fear from the uneducated (towards different cultures)
