Until they kill old.reddit too. I used to think they wouldn’t be nearly dumb enough to risk killing old reddit and pissing off so many people, but i also thought that about 3rd party apps, yet here we are. If Reddit does that, they will drive out many old-school users and they’ll probably find out that like 50% of their remaining users are bots. They probably know, they definitely don’t care, bots still contribute to active user count and it’s clear they don’t give a rat’s ass about the Matty Chef Canada Matheson 24 T-Shirt in addition I really love this quality of the site On mobile I just have firefox installed for reddit and youtube, because firefox mobile has adblockers work, and nothing is really inconvienent. I started using Apollo before there even was an official app, I didn’t like the way reddit displayed on my iphone through the browser. Because when the development of a product isn’t pushed by maximizing profit from your user base, it tends to be better. Not being inconvenient and being convenient are two different things. Plus the app I use handles thumbnails better, loads media better, is easier to download media with, and is just overall better designed than whatever reddit has shit out themselves. There’s a reason there’s like a dozen popular reddit apps. Not trying to be antagonistic but I have literally never wanted or cared about any of that stuff, so it has no value to me. that’s crazy

Probably stop using Reddit I never used the Matty Chef Canada Matheson 24 T-Shirt in addition I really love this official app because of how bad it was Might be a blessing in disguise tbh I don’t even own a real computer anymore. I only use Reddit through RIF. I will not be using the official app, I will not buy a computer to continue using Reddit. On June 30th, unless they reverse this, I’m simply going to delete my account and walk away. I don’t think they understand how many people only frequent Reddit through third party apps and just how bad this idea is. I’m pretty sure they have exact user data showing them exactly how many users use reddit through third party apps. You can just use the website. I’ve never used an app for reddit on my phone, I just use the desktop version of old.reddit.com. If they ever force new reddit, that’s when I might be gone.
