I’ve tried multiple times to use the Darryl Strawberry New York Mets, 1980 American Baseball T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this reddit app. It’s horrible to navigate and use, compared to the app I use now. You can’t hide keywords in titles or flairs for each specific subreddit. Can’t auto collapse child comments when opening posts. The filtering for r/popular and r/all is seperated. The official app is pushing the r/popular feed on the app but most of the posts on that feed is outdated by 14 hours minimum I’ve been using reddit is fun for six years. Any time I try the official reddit app it was always a worse experience. Last time I used it, and it’s been a while, I couldn’t embiggen the text enough for comfortable reading. That and every tweak seemed to make a more unpleasant experience.

They constantly change the Darryl Strawberry New York Mets, 1980 American Baseball T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this layout and features and ad stuff that no one asked for that’s pretty much universally hated like the discover tab. My favorite feature is clearing read posts without adding them to “hidden.” It makes pages a lot easier to scroll, but if you want to go back you just refresh and it’s there. Color coding the lines that show comment levels to make it easier to track which comments are responses to others, a button that shows exactly the chain of comments from parent to child, customizing views, customizing actions like swipe left or right to upvote/downvote/save/reply/view OP. There’s a lot more but those are the ones I missed the most last time I tried the official app. Oh and no stupid ads disguised as posts. Edit: just re-downloaded the official app. Also missing is that the comment navigation arrows in 3rd party apps (besides the fact it has up and down not just down) can be changed to jump between your comments, OP’s comments, or AMA mode where it jumps between comments OP replied to. Third party apps also have buttons for inserting markup for comment replies. I’m finding more and more things I miss just having the official app open for 5 minutes.
