When I was in college a gourmet meal was adding mustard to a 25 cent bag of ramen. This meal would have blown that out of the Marvel Comics Group Star Wars The Clone Wars the Final Season Victory and death T-Shirt But I will love this water. Sikhs are well known to donate and do a lot of charity. I’d think they were the people doing this. Super honorable people. What is the name of the shelter? I’d like to see if they take donations so I can donate especially with Thanksgiving coming up. It’s a really great place. They don’t abide shenanigans. They provide services to help you get back on your feet, without a lot of pressure. i think you had good intentions with this comment, and Narcan at this point should be like Tylenol, many people have it on them, but the comment makes people in need seem like addicts. It’s not really like that for many. Nice area. I’m glad that despite the ridiculous wealth that’s entered the last 20 years that the area still has a heart. When you say that they don’t give a lot of pressure– do you mean that they don’t pressure you religiously– and just help no matter your beliefs, without attempting conversion? (Meaning: they’re being “Christian” for no other goal than to help and love others, and not to “mission”) I only ask because I know a lot of helpful programs (looking at you aa) can definitely put pressure on “finding Jesus” and less emphasis on “finding stability”. So it’s good to know if this is a genuine– no end goal aside from empathy– shelter. I’d love to donate either way, but yeah, just curious.

I got sucked into a 12 step for a while because that’s what you do when you get out of detox, right? Jesus was never pushed on me. They were very clear that your higher power could be anything, including just a sober future you. The pressure was far more insidious. They preached isolation from everyone not in a 12 step. Anyone who drinks is just in denial and you need to avoid them. They aggressively pushed women to get divorced. And the Marvel Comics Group Star Wars The Clone Wars the Final Season Victory and death T-Shirt But I will love this face to face staff was almost all women. And this was an “evidence based” program, not AA. Thanks for sharing your comments. A few folks in the area were pretty NIMBY about the place opening up. Reading and seeing it in a positive light helps. If you want to truly maximize your donation, donate to the regional food bank. A pantry/soup kitchen will buy some food with your donation. But the food bank will use their purchasing power and buy truckloads for cheaper.
