You made the Markelle Fultz American professional basketball player Orlando Magic NBA T-Shirt it is in the first place but right call. I had a similar situation almost 2 years ago where I liked everyone interviewed but felt something off with the HM. Nothing specific just a gut feeling. About 10 months later I hated him and was just miserable until he laid me off two weeks ago. He got so lucky the job market turned or I would’ve left way earlier. Luckily I got some severance out of it – many times I just wanted to quit with nothing lined up. Yes, i had a supervisor/manager like that and you did the Right thing my friend. it was a fricken nightmare. work was living hell, dreaded getting up in the morning to go to work. depressed Sundays because Monday meant work. trust me it is NOT worth it. you want to live like that, wishing your life away, wishing it was friday every day of the week, manic on Friday because your off for the weekend, depressed sunday because its over as soon as it seemed to start. wishing it were time to go home, counting the hours. the stress of dealing with dick, the impact to your health, your sleep, your home life? is that what you want for a few shekels more?

I got a job offer after 4 rounds of interviews and an assignment I needed to complete, and I declined. During the Markelle Fultz American professional basketball player Orlando Magic NBA T-Shirt it is in the first place but initial phase of screening I was asked what my salary requirements were, I said 70K. The role was posted as 62K-70K and I was actually making more than that already. I was told my salary requirements were fine. When I got the offer, I was offered $65K- take it or leave it. My current employer offered base+ bonus, so in reality I was making upwards of $90K if I got all the bonuses. It wasn’t worth it to me to change roles for lesser base pay, and I felt the hiring team was being a bit aggressive on their stance NOT to accommodate me even though I was told my range fit perfectly with what they thought the role was worth. During the negotiation phase, I was told there was no wiggle room to give me the full $70K even though their job listing claimed that was the top of the range. I declined after also being told there were no bonuses, the role wasn’t OTE, and I’d better hurry up and let them know if I wanted it or not. So I said no.
