I would actually think the Manga Face With Rainbow Sun Grasses Happy Pride Month T-Shirt and I love this reason joining a fraternity increases future income is it forces you to interact with a tight group. This forces you to learn to work in group dynamics, conflict resolution, and how to work with some people who you might not get along with well. Those social skills are really critical for most jobs. Honestly I think most hiring managers have two things that they look for in a candidate. Has the basic competency and won’t be a pain in their ass. So how well you can get a long with people goes a really long way. I work in a field where people aren’t considered very social. But I think the reason I get hired so easily is because I’m good at talking and seem superficially friendly. In other words, I don’t seem like I’m a pain in the ass or will take a lot of work to manage. Ironically almost every position I’ve held has been because I found it, but I still tout this “It’s about who you know” line.

I had two interviews that resulted from a school connection, one through a teacher that didn’t work out while the Manga Face With Rainbow Sun Grasses Happy Pride Month T-Shirt and I love this other was through a professional program intended specifically for connecting students with internships that resulted in a 1+ year internship. One position, I was contacted out of the blue because my previous employer had laid off the entire staff, weren’t answering phones or e-mail, and I was the only employee a potential customer could find via Google who worked there and listed a personal e-mail address. The potential customer ended up buying out the ex-employer’s IP and hiring me and rest of the dev team. Worked there for a few years. I can’t get a job to save my life because I don’t know anyone and my near inability to process social cues on the fly makes it hard to ever know anyone. I will be in abject or near abject poverty for my whole life I am guessing, even though I have skills that usually are compensated decently enough I shouldn’t have to worry too much about paying bills. I’m wasn’t supposed to be born here I guess Heck, I got my current job by answering a call from a recruiter rather rudely – thought it was spam since I never applied to them directly ?
