Mate seriously fuck your JSA. I work in the Macho maynard shirt Also,I will get this industry and no way should you be made to wait that long. Ring the DSS complaints line next time and clearly outline what has happened and stick it to them. Being a bit late if an appointment runs over sometimes happens, but over an hour because they forgot about you is totally unacceptable. Sorry you had to experience that. Aw mate, I get a universal credit top up to my wages and they can be a nightmare with stuff like this. I feel your pain! Once a year, their assessment period misses my wage being paid so they assume I’m no longer working and schedule an appointment. Same time every year, but they still insist on an appointment! They’re usually happy to make it a phone appointment since I’m actually at work. Then this happens and I’m sitting at work anxiously waiting for a call, or I can’t pay the bills.

Bro fucking centrelink man, I spent so long going through the Macho maynard shirt Also,I will get this same hoops as you. It’s an absolute joke of a system Omg reading through your comments I thought “this sounds like a UK benefits phone call”. It just had that vibe of “don’t be late for us, we’re too important, but you can wait you scumbag”. I feel your pain, and hope you were able to be passively aggressive about their lateness. Mate if your profile didnt make it clear that you’re in the UK, I would have sworn you were dealing with WINZ (Work and Income New Zealand). They do basically the exact same crap, all while not actually paying you enough to survive. Unemployment did that to me. I was trying to appeal some bullshit about me owing them 1200 bucks. They would would give me a day and time, I would wait and wait and nothing. Then they’d call when I was at work or something hours later. We played phone tag for months and they finally said I was passed the timeline for an appeal. They blatantly stole 1200 bucks from me despite me have documentation that I was off work and didn’t make a false claim.
