Make sense. Technology-based industry(including automation) can bring more potential and industrial capacity to Aoteoroa. Things would become a lot more expensive. Plus more pollution, mining, from producing the Love The Earth It’s A Gift To Future Generations T-Shirt in addition I really love this raw materials for industry. And we would still be reliant on imports of rare earth minerals. It depends on what areas we focus on. We still send a lot of raw product (dairy, logs, meat, fruit etc) off shore to be processed and have value added. Often, most of the value add is done off shore and we are left with a very small part of the potential income. I don’t think we can manufacture cars, but our baby milk powder type products could be a great way to re-industrialise. We need NZ companies to do this though, it kind of defeats the purpose of we just have the big global firms hear doing it instead. closing our crude processing was one of the dumbest things weve done thats cost us so much and caused cooking gas shortages etc

And the Love The Earth It’s A Gift To Future Generations T-Shirt in addition I really love this current global situation just made that so painfully obvious. You’d think somebody would have had the balls to hit the emergency brake on that one. Some services may need to run at a loss for a stable and independent society. Personally I’d be happy for us to move away from trading with bad partners and instead trade with good ones. And it’d sure be nice if we didn’t have to pay so much to try our own food. I’m sure you could name a few if you tried. There are some really good kids, well actually they all are, however the language they use quite freely is often appalling, and often if the teacher steps out of the room Im sure the kids ‘forget’ that Im there. And if I do speak up Im ignored. They just dont give a shit. There’s quite a few really lazy and entitled kids who think they just dont need to do the work. I completely understand the teachers feeling exasperated and frustrated. They just want these kids to do well, however their hands are bound in so many ways. And the kids know it and play on it. In response to this news article, I could easily record the kids behaviour and language on my phone. But I wont, cos I do actually like my job and dont want to jeopardise it. However I feel incredibly sorry for this teacher as no doubt he will be hauled before the BoT and I do wonder if he will lose his job, or leave.
