Incredible, loved it. Especially the Love Snoopy America Shirt and I will buy this music and cinematography. Robert Pattinson killed it as young, grungy Batman. The Batmobile scene was fucking fire. Only gripe was the Joker scene. Please for fucks sake we’ve seen enough of that character this past decade, lets do something else? Honestly, I thought it was good. Definitely could have been better cause I wasn’t happy with the bloated script or how little The Riddler was used throughout the film. For being the main villain he just wasn’t utilized enough, especially in the middle half when the film focused on Falcone, Penguin and Catwoman. I like the grounded feel of the first hour, but it quickly went a little convoluted and over the top in the end for me. Pattinson had great screen presence but was overshadowed by Colin Farrell, Paul Dano and Zoe Kravitz in my opinion. Alfred was sidelined which is unfortunate cause Andy Serkis did what he could with what he was given. I will say it was better then Ben Affleck’s version but it still doesn’t touch The Dark Knight Trilogy for me personally. The Batman is a solid film none the less.

So Barry Keoghan is the Love Snoopy America Shirt and I will buy this joker???? That’s fucking wild . Why does everyone talk in this movie like someone nearby is sleeping and they don’t want to wake them up? Pattison really nailed the bat-glare. Dude has movie star eyes that could tell you 100 stories with just one look. Maybe I wasn’t properly paying attention when it actually happened but why wasn’t Alfred reduced to human lasagne when the bomb exploded? I could suspend by disbelief in him not dying but there was barely a scratch on him… He threw the bomb and ducked mostly behind the desk just before it exploded. And also he was in the hospital for the rest of the runtime. But…the one for me was the explosion to the face that batman took, and is basically perfectly fine hours later.
