I don’t remember very well now but the Loretta lynn singer shirt in addition I really love this first couple of days were purely liquid non-spicy things like gruel and soup without spices. I think I was allowed to drink juice but didn’t feel like because I was afraid of the pain and wanted to minimize intake. While the pain was terrible the first three or so days, it did climb down steadily. In 10 days I’ve journalled that the pain was negligible except while walking. Within two weeks I had walked a 5k on a treadmill. Oh and another thing.. butt surgery also makes it so it hurts when you pee. You don’t realise how much you clench your butt while peeing and climbing/descending stairs until butt clenching hurts. I had colon cancer (In remission now yay) found out when I had to have emergency surgery because of a total obstruction. They took the bad part out at midnight, because it was an emergency I ended up with an ostomy for about 15 months ( they run your colon to the outside of your body on your stomach kind of near your belly button) had that undone after chemo and recovering from the chemo. They let me eat 24 hours after the surgery. I was out of it for the most part for those hours anyway, yay Dilaudid.

I was on soft foods for a week. Things like eggs, you could have meat but it had to be ground, fish, soft fruits like banana or melon, bread as long as it wasn’t whole wheat, potatoes and rice are fine. Nothing like seeds or nuts, no raw vegetables, no vegetables with thick skin ( tomatoes , corn or beans) not things like apples or pomegranates. No roughage. Best recommendations I’ve gotten are to hold my front bits with a pad while I gently push poops. Also, laxatives. This. Had my ductwork resectioned a few years ago to remove some bad parts. Was very surprised when the Loretta lynn singer shirt in addition I really love this doctor said to just go like normal. Lotta pain, lotta blood, but everything worked per usual. ‘Immediately’ as in, you don’t even dress, you just hobble naked and half bent over from the toilet to the shower.
