Some hosts actively invite these things, which I appreciate. But without an explicit invitation to, I would never expect them to act like a hotel concierge. I just send that as a collection. I have only asked questions like this at 2 stays, and both were cases where the host had a little AirBnB empire going with a concierge service to handle requests (tours, rentals, etc). Would never dream of asking otherwise!

Only time I asked a host recommendation was for a taverna for my birthday dinner and that was weeks before arrival. Some hosts are a little more forthcoming with local info and I just grin and bear it and thank them. Sometimes I’ll ask my host questions like “do you know where we might be able to find this item locally” or “is there a particular resturant locally you recommend”. I’ll usually also ask about getting there from the airport and while I’m there if I can’t find something I’ll ask the host. I expect them to be available within sociable hours but I don’t expect them to respond to me immediately. Sometimes I’ll message a host on average 1-2 times a day while I’m their and other times I won’t message them the entire stay except to let them know we’ve arrived and we’ve left. AirBnB’s are more expensive than hotels these days and I think it’s reasonable to expect a little personality for the money such as the host being available to answer the odd questions. However I don’t like to badger them and I certainly don’t expect them to act as a tour guide. But a few local tips and recommendations is reasonable enough I think

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
