There are times when I feel fancy and want to wear full face of makeup, but now I go for a cushion instead of full cover foundation. It took me a long time to feel comfortable with a naked face but once I did, it was so freeing. I use make up if I feel like it, but I’m also ok without. I could never do this while married to the (diagnosed) narcissist. I’m so grateful to be out of that. I completely agree. Sometimes if I can tell I’m uncomfortable going bare face, I challenge myself to do it until I’m comfortable with it again. Wearing makeup should be fun!

So true. I used to wear makeup every day, and stopped when I was pregnant because of the Limp Bizkit poster American nu metal band from Jacksonvill T-Shirt moreover I love this nausea and exhaustion. It took a few days for me to get used to seeing my face bare all the time. I thought I looked awful. But now I like the way I look without makeup and barely wear it anymore First, I’ll say that you are probably just as pretty as your friends without makeup. We are always more critical of ourselves than others, and you are just used to seeing them with no makeup. Second, I would not feel a huge need to follow the flock, so to speak, but it would be understandable if you wanted to scale it back when you hang out with them. I usually do a more natural look when I am going out with friends who do not wear any makeup, but if I feel like creating A Look, I go for it because that’s who I am and I think my friends appreciate it. They don’t often have questions about stuff like this, but once in a while someone will come to me like I’m a source, and that feels really good – like they not only see me, but they trust my style enough to guide them. It’s great to have diverse interests among a friend group! Yes, I’m probably overly critical of my natural face. I must learn to be less afraid of going out bare-faced! But you’ve reminded me that I also often get questions about my makeup from various people so perhaps I should be proud of my abilities hehe.
