Still have a functional 2nd-gen iPod with the Legends Pittsburgh Steeler super Bowl thank you for the memories shirt in addition I really love this click wheel and everything. Thing can’t hold a charge but still bangs if connected to power source and aux. sometimes I just like to look at the “most played” list and think about my life over the last 18-some years. Well yeah, because the classic slaps. As soon as you jump to touch, it becomes an iPhone without cellular, and many people already have an iPhone so what’s the point? They should keep the classic, beef it up so it doesn’t burn up in my car, and I’d put insane amounts of music on it and just leave it hooked up forever to my car. Done and done. Same. I use my 160G for the car. No streaming/music rental fees, extra data costs or algorithms. I rip or DL everything at 320k and make a 128k copy so there’s enough room to continue adding stuff.

Same. Been using it for over a decade. I installed Rockbox on it. It never leaves its iSkin case except for cleaning. It has been a big part of my life. Love my 160 classic sadly it’s dead. How crazy is it we are talking about iPods with nostalgia like record players lol I often need to play background music at my job and I don’t like leaving my phone unattended/being without my phone so I still use my 160 gig iPod Classic every week. Same. I’m probably showing my “old fogey-ness” too much here, but I hate the Legends Pittsburgh Steeler super Bowl thank you for the memories shirt in addition I really love this modern iPods. I just want something basic for music. I don’t need all the new-fangled features and apps clogging up the space. That’s what phones/tablets are for! I fear the day mine breaks and I won’t be able to get a replacement.
