Capitalism can’t solve the Legend Since September 2008 Aged Perfectly 14th Birthday T-Shirt in contrast I will get this problem so hand it over to fascist thugs with billy clubs and guns. We’re getting ever closer to breaking point. This is basically just a law to funnel people directly into for-profit prisons. TN is a dystopia. I used to live in Kentucky and as backward as that state was TN was always far worse in terms of just how cruel and fucked their policies were. So the plan is to make cost of living too high, overpopulate forcefully, make it illegal to live with a roommate, and then When they are finally on the street, make that illegal to such a degree they get a decade or two in a private prison that if prisoners don’t work in, they get put in solitary confinement and eat stale bread. I feel bad for the homeless, but my opinion on them recently drastically changed. I live near-ish to Portland, OR. Our homeless population is among the highest in the nation. The city spent millions to build an enormous village for the homeless. It was a lots of fully furnished tiny homes with power and water and heating. The homeless completely destroyed it within a month and now it’s an abandoned wreck. Idk where they are supposed to go, but you can’t help those who don’t want to be helped.

Prison. It’s just better if, as a poor person, the Legend Since September 2008 Aged Perfectly 14th Birthday T-Shirt in contrast I will get this state knows exactly where you are, subsidizes you being there, keeps you there under lock and key, justifies your being there with increasingly trivial felonious acts, forces you into said felonious acts through poverty and inaction, limits your prospects after you get out… honestly someone should just buy a bunch of private land that homeless people can camp on for free, it really does astound me sometimes how cruel Americans are when it comes to their own poverty, it’s like they don’t want to acknowledge that poor people exist For a state that cares an abundant amount about hypothetical unborn children they really don’t give a fuck about humans once they leave the womb. Don’t expect a logical answer–expect people trying to push away the thought of their own ability to fail and to be in need.
