Anyone know of any padded bike shorts that are 95% or more cotton or hemp? Seconding the “bikers don’t wear cotton” thing. However, before the advent of modern synthetics, the old-school bikers wore wool jersey, if you are wanting something out of natural fibres. It absorbs/wicks perspiration brilliantly, takes quite a bit to stink, and breathes well — believe it or not, it makes a pretty good performance fabric. That said, I’ve only seen modern cycling jerseys made of wool (and that, only very rarely), and no shorts. But perhaps you could research the antique sort and have some made. By padded, do you mean with the chamois for the bike seat? I’ve bought plenty of these (I ride road, gravel, and mountain) and have absolutely never seen any with that kind of fabric content. Cotton doesn’t wick sweat very well and gets heavy with water so I can’t imagine a cyclist wearing that.

I love the Landratten Captain Illustration For Little Sea Bears Teddy T-Shirt and by the same token and uniqlo linen cotton pants (they have an elastic waist and a button front) so they look professional while also being stretchy. Are there any other high rise pants in that same style? Does anyone have an shapewear recommendations, perhaps a brand they are realy impressed with? I am looking for a bodysuit that will flatten my stomach and cinch my waist – I’m 5”8 and average weight – just want something to really flatter me for the occasions I wear a bodycon dress 🙂 Is there a non-tacky way to wear/display my enamel pin collection? I have a lot of cute/funny and often pop culture related enamel pins, and I would love to show them off more often. I used to have them on my purse, but I changed to a smaller purse and don’t really have room anymore. Can you just use them the same as broaches? Any tips welcome! I used to work with homeless kids often and had a little collection of pop culture kid friendly pins and would stick them to the lapel of my blazer, bonus points if I was in a whole suit that matched.
