The worst part (for me) is the Kyle Larson American professional auto racing driver Making Moves T-Shirt in addition I really love this nausea and dizziness that comes from my brain being like “oh no what’s happening” i’ve gotten tons of bloodwork and honestly the worst was after i gave birth in hospital. haven’t had any big issues just going and getting bloodwork done. they’re usually way more gentle there than in hospital. The only time it hurts is if the person doing the blood draw really sucks at their job. Typically it’s just a pinch. Only once did I have someone who couldn’t find the vein and left me with a palm sized bruise. I have a huge, huge fear of getting blood drawn. It’s more because of being squeamish and disliking my body being messed with than fear of the pain of it, but no one likes pain either, so when I was going to get it done I did worry a bit about this too. HOWEVER! I’ve had to had my blood drawn twice now. It didn’t hurt at all either time. For me, even less than getting a flu shot. That’s how it was for me. It’ll be okay. 🙂

The test itself is painless. You won’t be there for the Kyle Larson American professional auto racing driver Making Moves T-Shirt in addition I really love this test, that’s a technician in a lab. It’s just getting your blood drawn that involves a needle. It’s not completely painless (well not usually, but I have had some actually painless ones, from one person in particular), but it’s small and quick. It’s really not worth worrying about. Removing the tape/bandaid stuck to my arm-hairs later is probably more of a deal. I’d much prefer a blood draw than stepping on a lego piece, for example. It hurts less than a vaccination and they’re usually not a big deal either. TBH if the person doing it is even moderately competent (which they will be), you really won’t feel that much; a small prick. I’ve had blood drawn many many dozens of times (more than 50, I really don’t know how many, might be a hundred), and almost all of them were easy. The anticipation of it is worse than the prick itself. My doctor was the absolute best at it (sadly now retired – well sad for me, well deserved for him). Literally half the time he took blood from me I didn’t even feel the needle at all. I wish they could have bottled his skill at it and passed it out to everyone who has to draw blood. He was the god of blood draws. If only everyone could be that good at it, it was a total pleasure with him.
