So a couple of years ago. I stopped wearing makeup all together. I let the Kenny Pickett an American football quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers T-Shirt in other words I will buy this world know and myself know what “i” really looked like without it. Sounds dramatic but it meant a lot to me, I needed to know what it felt like to be comfortable without wearing it. And it helped a lot. Now I wear it sometimes. I would wear it more often but I have a kid and just don’t find the time lol. But it’s a nice feeling to not feel like I “have” to, and just enjoy doing it when I want to because you’re beautiful without it too! You just have to get comfortable seeing yourself without it, and get comfortable with other people seeing you without it. I hope my comment helped, and maybe not everyone agrees, and I still love makeup to this day, just to clarify. However I just felt like sharing because I really relate to this on a personal level! I think people should have more conversations about this sort of thing!!

I used to be the Kenny Pickett an American football quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers T-Shirt in other words I will buy this same! There was a point where the only people who had ever saw me without makeup was my gf and my best friend. Honestly a big part of it was insecurity with my skin – I started taking it more easy with make up and focused on having a better skin routine and it really helped with my confidence. But honestly it took a long time for me to get here too. But also – live your life girl. Don’t be shy to wear make up just cos your friends don’t. My ‘natural’ face would be what some of my other friends call their full beat lol – do you 🙂 I used to wear full face of makeup to cover my acne marks bcos I’m insecure about it. Lots of makeup collection too, eyeshadow palettes, foundations, concealers, eyeliners etc (saw lots of YT BG). As I grow older (and more income), I focus to treat my skin with skincare products and laser facials. When my skin textures and marks is manageable (not 100% flawless, I still have a bit of textures and PIH), I found that wearing a full face of foundation makes me look so cakey, so I only used a good concealer to spot cover and for undereye brightening bc I have a dark undereye. Bronzer contour for my double chin and eyeshadow, nothing fancy. Watching Korean makeup or BG (i.e. Pony) really helps (also K-dramas lol) especially if you want to go for a natural look. I feel like Korean beauty have it hands down. They focus more on your skin and brightening up your eye with just a few products.
