So if I’m reading this poster correctly, doesn’t it mean that you can interpret it as her raping him? Because he was drunk too and he could not give his consent! Or does that mean they raped each other and they should both go to jail for double rape? So based on that rationale couldn’t Jake press charges against Josie for rape as well? I mean he was inebriated and could not consent either. The thing about this that has always bothered me is, if Josie drives her car and gets a DUI it’s her fault because she made a bad decision. If you are drunk and can’t give your legal consent for sex how can you give consent for a sobriety check when you are pulled over for a DUI? It’s weird how sex is the Kelly Olynyk Canadian professional basketball player for Toronto Raptors T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this only thing that people aren’t responsible for when they’re drunk. I tried using that excuse when getting pulled over for drunk driving but they hauled my ass to jail. I love how this poster assumes that the male has to be the rapist- because surely no woman has ever raped a male, or anyone for that matter It’s interesting to me that Josie can’t consent, but no indication if Jake can or cannot consent. We assume that Josie would never rape Jake. And how come Josie wasn’t charged. If both were drunk and the call is she couldn’t consent then neither could he because of being drunk. So was Josie charged with rape?

It’s so unfortunate how sex is viewed as something that men do TO women instead of something they do WITH women So what they are saying is, a) men can’t be raped by women, even if he’s unconscious and hogtied by the Kelly Olynyk Canadian professional basketball player for Toronto Raptors T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this woman, b) in that scenario, he’s still the rapist and c)drunk or sober, it’s the man that calls the shots in a relationship. Unclear how this legally plays out if both couples are drunk and gay. Either they both raped each other or lesbians are incapable of raping one another. Pretty sure they still used this or something similar in a college orientation I had to take back in 2020. I might be remembering wrong though. if the woman can’t consent because she’s drunk how come the man can consent when he’s drunk? if being drunk is the standard for inability to give consent then by that logic neither of them were consenting She’s clearly just having some innocent fun, whereas he’s looking at the camera smugly thinking to himself, “Can’t wait to do some rapin!” I mean… if a women can not concent while drunk, why can it not be said the man can’t either? Josie raped Jake just as much! Now if Jake was sober and kept giving her drinks, then you got a case. is it me or did they actively remove the bit saying “jake could NOT consent”? There’s a suspicious amount of white space there.
