Oh god my dear, i swear with every sentence i felt this was going to be assault. Its like he decided to pull back last minute. I wouldnt agree to work there anymore. That night it was tame, the Keep Calm And Play Darts Darts Shirt in other words I will buy this next quiet night it might not be… It kinda sounded like it most of the way through because he was trying to control your clothing, but snatching your glasses off your face? That sealed the deal for me. One of his next steps will be outright sexual assault. Don’t ever go into a room alone with him. Yes it’s sexual harassment. What you wear, right down to the glasses, and what repertoire (outside of a general genre or style) you choose to perform are never up to the owner of any venue where you’re booked to play. I’ve been playing in pubs, coffee shops, hotels, festivals & more for over 30 years. This guy went WAY over the line, and his only possible motive given the behaviour you described is that he’s grooming you for sexual exploitation and testing your boundaries to see if he can get away with more.

Keep Calm And Play Darts Darts Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Show up on Monday, wear whatever you want, sing whatever works for the Keep Calm And Play Darts Darts Shirt in other words I will buy this venue and the crowd, and if the owner bothers you, tell him to fuck off because he’s acting creepy and making you uncomfortable. The worst case scenario is that you get fired, but that also means you don’t have to go back and you have potential grounds for a sexual harassment / retaliation lawsuit. And showing up dressed and acting as he asks is giving him permission to run your whole life in his twisted mind. He’s getting off on making you into his little fantasy girl. The kind of doll he’s attempting to create is not a barbie. There are many ways he could have discussed your performance professionally if he wanted a specific genre and he chose none of them. I’d say ask your parents for confirmation but I don’t want to contribute to either of them ending up in jail. This man is waving a red flag the size of a small country. Find a different gig for your own protection and sanity.
