If a game looks good I will play it regardless of the Kansas City Chiefs Monsters of the Gridiron Halloween Shirt and I love this gender of the character I’m playing. If I have a choice between genders, sometimes it’s intriguing to get another perspective on things, so I’ll play the gender I’m not (and then do a playthrough of the gender I am). I can’t speak on single player games. But for multiplayer first person shooters, the woman’s hit boxes are smaller than the larger men’s avatars. Which is actually an unfair advantage. When it comes to MMORPGs, guys like to masquerade as women to get free stuff and attention from orbiters. If given the option I usually go with whoever has the better voice actor performance. Fem Shep on Mass Effect all day for me If it’s a story based game I’m usually curious how or if they changed the dialog and stuff for the female protagonist. I’m playing Star Ocean 6 right now as the female protagonist but as often happens, the male protagonist is still in charge most of the time. Still, it’s interesting to see the little things they try to do to give her more agency and stuff.

In many games, like League of Legends, each character has different gameplay mechanics and unique powers. Limiting yourself to just one gender of character would take away a large part of the Kansas City Chiefs Monsters of the Gridiron Halloween Shirt and I love this gameplay. Mostly on the character customization part; women have a lot of options and gives more space to be more creative. Also speaking from experience, just tired seeing men as the lead in some plots, that’s why I always choose women for a change. I’ve got a teen boy, always play female characters from back when I could beat him. Don’t want to raise an incel. Why would I want to spend hours looking at a tough looking man with his manly grunts when I could spend hours looking at a cute or hot woman with female grunts?
