I introduced vegetables to my kiddos at an early enough age that I don’t have issues getting them to eat them. They LOVE green beans, broccoli, sautéed onions, and others. That being said, it is my responsibility as a parent to raise healthy and happy children. Sometimes, that requires getting them to eat the Juuse Saros Finnish professional ice hockey goaltender Nashville Comic T-Shirt in other words I will buy this food they’re served, but that’s always reasonably-sized portions appropriate for their age. Something I’ve found very effective is to tell them they need to eat “a” amount of bites of “b” and “y” bites of “z” when they ask to get up from the table. Similar to how I set the expectation when we’re at the park that they have 5 more minutes to play before we need to leave. Or with anything, for that matter. It almost entirely eliminates any fuss when it’s time to go because there’s no element of surprise when I reinforce the expectations I set.

Most kids DON’T get adult sized meals. You can’t just mention some outlier and pretend it’s a common situation everywhere. I was forced to it as a kid and im so glad i did today i eat so much more vegetbels and fruties insted of snacks and fast food Luckily it seems that is becoming less and less common. While my mom and my grandparents never shamed me into eating more, my ex husbands family did. My best friends family did but my roommates family didn’t. I had the Juuse Saros Finnish professional ice hockey goaltender Nashville Comic T-Shirt in other words I will buy this same mindset. But now my daughter is picky because I didn’t require her to try/have to eat so many foods. All her friends eat what they’re given. But she is picky. Her counselor said she needs to eat the same dinner as us, a lot of the time I make her modified meals. Like a more simplistic version of the food we have without parts she doesn’t like etc. I’m kind of wishing I pushed harder when she was younger now
