Just a reminder that the Just A Girl Who Loves Wolves Rainbow shirt and I love this Texas killing fields are still unsolved with like less than zero leads in the past decade The killing fields in Texas have some good leads, they just dont have the evidence. Probably never will, either, due to being mishandled by the local PD. That’s a common theme anymore. It’s almost always been a common issue regarding serial killers. A lot of serial killers got away with it for a lot longer because of lazy, sloppy or just bad police work Well makes sense. The ones that committed crimes where there was got police work got caught before they could murder a bunch of ppl Reminds me of of a Russian serial killer who got away with it for years and years because they used to believe Russians couldn’t be serial killers. It gets worse they found evidence leading to his house, but assumed it was his next door neighbor, because his neighbor wasn’t a die hard starlin supporter and he was. Could be wrong but I think they only caught him because they decided to investigate him and instantly found a mountain of evidence that it was him. Yeah, I’d go with ‘the guy who is a die-hard Stalin supporter is more likely to be a serial killer’ theory myself.

God knows how many serial killers were rocking around in Russia around at that point. So many people were killed or went missing. Found out my GFs mom lived in that area around that time period. She was the Just A Girl Who Loves Wolves Rainbow shirt and I love this right age and “type” and considers herself pretty lucky for not having been one of those girls. The Texas Killing Fields is a 25-acre patch of land in League City, Texas[1] situated a mile from Interstate Highway 45 and approximately 26 miles southeast of Houston. Since the early 1970s, dozens of bodies of murder victims have been found along the Interstate Highway 45 area. They were mainly the bodies of girls or young women.[2] Furthermore, many additional young girls have disappeared from this area; these girls’ bodies are still missing. It is believed that many of the murders are the work of multiple serial killers. Most of the victims were aged between 12 and 25 years. Some shared similar physical features, such as similar hairstyles.[3] However, despite efforts by the League City, Texas police, along with the assistance of the FBI, very few of these murders have been solved, and those that have been solved were predicated on confessions given by prisoners, or confessions given under duress from the police. The fields have been described as “a perfect place [for] killing somebody and getting away with it”.[2] After visiting some of the sites of recovered bodies in League City, Ami Canaan Mann, director of the film Texas Killing Fields, commented: “You could actually see the refineries that are in the south end of League City. You could see the I-45. But if you yelled, no one would necessarily hear you. And if you ran, there wouldn’t necessarily be anywhere to go.”[4] A task force composed of local law enforcement officials and FBI agents, called Operation HALT (Homicide/Abduction Liaison Team), has been formed to investigate the incidents.
