It’s similar like with making friends. I am extremely extroverted and communicative and I seem to flow through the number of people one needs to get to know on average to find a good friend or partner very quickly. Around the 1 year mark I was housesitting in another city and started getting lonely and jumped on Tinder for the first time. Met a nice guy who showed me around the city, went on a few dates, nothing serious since I’d be going back home eventually, just a fwb sort of thing. He invited me to a party and I met my current partner and fell instantly head over heels for him.
