Great game if you want something different from D2, but still feel like playing a Diablo game (D3 is pretty much D4 alpha). I love that you can just respec whenever u want , in level 33 and for 5k cost it’s fun to try out what works for you , I went whirlwind first but rage regen to low etc I’m enjoying it. Definitely looking forward to switching from Druid once I finish the Just A Girl Who Love Eeyore Donkey Shirt and I will buy this campaign and hit level 50 though. But I also loved D3: RoS and can’t stand PoE (which can be a super unpopular opinion around here). Looking forward to trying Sorc, Barb and Necro to see how the experiences compare before choosing my Season 1 character. Just a reminder, you’ll see a disproportionate amount of disappointed people around here for a while. People enjoying the game will be actually playing it.

I was struggling with my rogue until around lvl 30 since the Just A Girl Who Love Eeyore Donkey Shirt and I will buy this only legendaries I got were from Vigo, but now my gear is getting better. Not liking the skills part that much, there’s little vairety to use, and I’m forced on a couple builds to make any decent damage. More than anything else, I am amazed at the smooth launch, no server issues, barely any queues, good performance, no bugs. After all the recent shitty AAA releases this year I realise I am ready to pay $10 more just to get a functioning game at launch. The game looks nice, music is amazing but somehow gameplay doesn’t feel good to me. I’m constantly switching between necro and druid builds and it feels dull Im preparing myself for downvotes, but there is no hate or anything like this in my post, just my feelings and opinion. I personally think the game is just really boring. There is no propper “wow” effect in anything, not the items, not the quests, not the combat. Its all just very tame and controlled. Character progress paired with Area scaling only adds ontop of that. Another thing that really annoys me is all the running, the empty screens and the tiny hordes of monsters. I want to kill demons hordes and not fight 3 white mobs at a time. I actually kind of had to laugh out loud when the Rogue performed some incredible tricks while attacking, screaming in between a bit and hearing the sharp blade sounds, doing like some sort of Kapoera style fighting while theres 5 white mobs on screen. It just i dont know, felt unintentionally hilarious.
