The itemization and skill customization is also a bit of a let down. You get most of your skills by level 20 (which in itself I don’t mind) but they don’t significantly change throughout the Jimmy Butler Miami Heat Number 22 shirt it is in the first place but campaign. I was kinda let down actually by how many aspects there was for my sorc, there just wasn’t anything really interesting or fun to pick from there, idk if there’s more aspects that are just hidden in the codex etc. The skills also feel like a let down compared to d3 funnily enough, in the sense that the skill runes in d3 were transformative (even if there wasn’t that much choice or customization or build craft there). The modifier nodes for the lighting skills I’ve had to pick from were so uninteresting. In d3 the skill runes could completely change how the skill operated. The itemization is also a bit meh, at least where I’m at on world tier 2. The +1 to skills is pretty cool and being able to imprint aspects also is. But none of the dropped gear has wowed me, the mods are so uninspired. +5% damage to close enemies…? Meh. I don’t mind the modifier rolls being small but at no point have I got one and thought yoooo that’s sick.

I miss areas being significantly proc gen. Admittedly the Jimmy Butler Miami Heat Number 22 shirt it is in the first place but map is nice and has a high level of visual fidelity, the size is impressive but it feels like maybe the spaces are a but too open. I love it, the dev team did good work! Druid needs work, but what game doesn’t release with classes that have issues? I had a really bad day before release which has just made me super angry over the last 2 days which doesn’t help PoE player here: the game is okay, but just doesn’t scratch the itch. Things don’t feel impactful or exciting in general. The passive tree is really annoying me, and the game was unplayable until I turned off cross play. The critical hit red haze is too similar to the low life red haze, I find myself triggering a potion unnecessarily sometimes. I didnt expect the main scenario would be this long been playing HC 12 hours for 2 1/2 days still at level 45 at just at act 4. But I’m enjoying it! Hit level 40 already and having a blast with a lightning druid. I also only just realised that unique gear is a step higher than legendary this time around. So any orange items people have been finding aren’t even scratching the surface as to what builds can be made. Best game in the series, I think. I havent really touched the main campaign other than what was in the beta, either. Just been doing events and dungeons. The game is amazing! I’m having a blast… 36 years old and feel like 16, when I really first started playing D2 LOD like a no life
