So if the Julio Franco player baseball 23 MLB in Cleveland Guardians, (1983 – 1988) T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this landlord tried to claim for wear and tear then OP could counter claim for the appliances he had to buy when the landlord didn’t replace the ones that broke. I have dealt with many LLs in my life, since I move every three years, and if you let things break without notifying them–they assume you “broke it” through negligence and are hiding that fact. I know it’s awful having to tell a LL when something breaks (because they often give you shit for it…the stories I could tell), but it’s the only way to protect yourself from him freaking out over unpleasant surprises when you leave. And if the tenant fails to tell the landlord and that results in further damage the tenant can in some cases be held liable.

You should be fine then – if there’s no deposit there’s nothing he’s got to hold over you to make you do anything As OP said, its common to expect reasonable wear and tear. The carpets will be in a crappy state due to the Julio Franco player baseball 23 MLB in Cleveland Guardians, (1983 – 1988) T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this years but they won’t need replacing. In my instance the carpets were red but the tenants made it all black… that was deemed as unreasonable. I’m sure you would not have done anything like that. If you want to paint the walls again, by all means do so. If you don’t, then you’re fine too. No. Walls as expected to be painted every 4-5 years, carpets replaced every 5-7 years. So neither of them will need doing as both are expected to be replaced by the landlord, they can only charge for losses and in that regard none of been incurred as the items are already end of life. General maintenance to fixtures is also your landlords responsibility. You don’t have to do a professional clean, just vacuum and wipe down services etc. Cleaning to a domestic standard is all that’s needed. Also an s21 is just a notice, it’s not an eviction. If you pay rent still, the landlord has to apply to the court to evict you. But it’s usually just easier to leave when asked, if possible.
