My grandparents regularly lacked enough food and so wasting food was a mortal sin and making sure I had enough to eat was the Josh Okogie Nigerian-American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this most important thing. But things have changed so quickly and we can’t keep up. Our intergenerational learning system is completely fucked up, with older generations trying to teach us how to live in a world that doesn’t exist. I broke the food cycle. That one was easy for me since I had such an unhealthy relationship with food from being forced to finish meals and not “waste” food. But the damn hoarding of tissue paper from presents and gift bags and wrapping paper and bows is a nightmare for me. When my great grandparents were alive, we had to be so careful not to rip the paper Christmas morning so we could reuse it. Now, every year, my heart skips watching my daughter dive into her gifts, ripping the paper to shreds.

My parents and people who took care of me did that. They forced me to eat the Josh Okogie Nigerian-American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this whole plate of food, but I couldn’t. So I got yelled at and said there’s starving kids in Africa bit Then one day I threw up all the food I was forced to eat and then from there every one is like oh just don’t eat a lot. Eat what you can I was raised this way. One time I refused to eat chicken noodle soup made with coconut milk & milk powder. I was made to sit at the table until bedtime. Next morning my mom tried to make me eat it for breakfast. Then for supper, etc until it went bad. I lost 5 pounds that week, but refused to eat it. I never forced my kids to eat. Try something new, a tiny sample, yes. But if they didn’t like what was served, they could eat a sandwich. My cousin’s mom did this to her when she was around 6, she threw up scrambled eggs all over the table, I’ll never forget it. Her mom was an abusive cunt who eventually lost custody of both of my cousins.
