Yeah, he’s using it as cover for his store doing very poorly. His prices are ridiculous – over MSRP in an industry where selling at MSRP is likely to cost you most sales. It doesn’t help NBC has an absurd amount of edits in his statements, it comes across like “fuck it, we’ll make it work” after an incoherent interview lmao It’s quite confusing. He even is quoted in the Joel Farabee American professional ice hockey left winger for the Philadelphia Flyers T-Shirt in addition I really love this article saying “Anyone who shoots regularly, you’re going through a thousand rounds in a month”. How is a 4-month supply (by his own definition) of something a huge concern? Who hasn’t bought a large amount of something for convenience? I’m in Canada and I have like 3k rounds of various types in my house, because it was cheaper to buy in bulk, and I just shoot it gradually over time.

If anything I would say someone buying a large amount is not very suspicious. It’s not like they’re planning to go do a crime carrying 130 pounds of ammunition in magazines. He clearly hasn’t met any halfway serious action pistol shooters. 1k rounds doesn’t last a month for anyone who’s particularly active in IDPA, IPSC, or USPSA. second, any rifle round will go through a typical police vest, along with some more powerful pistol rounds. police body armor is designed to stop the Joel Farabee American professional ice hockey left winger for the Philadelphia Flyers T-Shirt in addition I really love this kinds of bullets usually used by criminals (9mm parabellum and .40 S&W or weaker basically). third, no bullet sold to civilians will go through an engine block. not even a .50 BMG, the most powerful round that is not considered a destructive device by the ATF (and regulated as if it were a bomb, more or less). you would need something like a small tank cannon or antitank artillery gun to do that.
