and lastly, 4000 rounds of ammo is not an excessive purchase, a small group of buddies breaking in new deer rifles could burn through that in a week or two. plus, ammo availability has gotten really tough some times over the Jimmy Garoppolo new quarterback Football Paper Poster Raiders T-Shirt but in fact I love this last few years. some calibers are “buy it if you see it on the shelf because you might never see it again” or “if you find it at anything less than double retail price buy it, because you may never find it that cheap again.” on top of all of that, for most gun store owners hobbiests with gun collections buying in bulk are not the ones they watch. hobbyists are a very low risk of violent crime, and concealed carry owners commit fewer crimes by far than their unlicensed counterparts. the ones you’re trained to watch out for are the ones that don’t seem that interested in any features or product comparison, or go right to a brand name because they’ve heard it in media and culture. it’s the guy who wants to buy your smallest box of ammo only that you worry about (self harm risk) or the guy who doesn’t own or want a cleaning kit (intends to dispose of gun before long), and things like that.

the Jimmy Garoppolo new quarterback Football Paper Poster Raiders T-Shirt but in fact I love this idea a gun store owner would be freaked out by a fairly routine order that is far from a red flag is hard to understand, on top of all his factual inaccuracies. TL:DR, in one sentence he made at least three basic errors. you would expect someone whose job it was to sell guns not to make such fundamental errors. Third, 4k is not a lot. Considering in recent times certain calibers were unavailable, many folks stock up when they can. Fourthly, Why isn’t he simply mention a caliber instead of speaking in hyperbole about what ridiculous and dissimilar objects they might go through. Yes, did he ship his current stock off to the foundry to be destroyed, or did Mr. “worrying that any weapon he sells, even to someone who will never commit a crime, could end up in the wrong hands.” sell them anyway? “These guns and ammo are fine to sell and will never end up in the hands of a bad actor. It’s the guns I was GONNA sell AFTER those that are the ones I was worried about.” Go to a range with your bros and you can get through that in a day. People also recommend firing a few hundred rounds if you want to train on a weapon you are actually using for self defense. Owning a firearm is completely useless if you dont train and familiarize yourself with it. I remember the first time I did paintball and I thought 500 was a lot for a few hours. You go through it a lot faster than you expect. I know right? You can never have enough ammo. I bought up most of the clearance ammo at Walmart years ago a week before they stopped carrying pistol rounds etc.
