Regardless of the Joe Burrow Football Paper Cincinnati Bengals shirt moreover I will buy this situation, I recommend keeping in mind that you don’t really owe anything to your company and should be looking out for whats best for you. Take the opportunities you are given but don’t burn yourself out or allow yourself to be mistreated. So try to get what you can, earn the title, and then make sure to check in with your feelings about your role at least once a year and make the moves you need to. I had a similar issue happen to me recently. I went from an application analyst to a data ops engineer. The base salary I was offered was $26k less than the mid range for the position. I thought it was ridiculous that they gave me just over the minimum. I know what the actual salary range was because I have access to our HR database and I even asked the manager so I could admit knowing it when talking to HR. The position was literally created for me and did not exist in the company until then. When I told HR that what they were offering was not enough they took 2 weeks to come back and give me a 3 cent/hr increase over the original amount. During this time I was unofficially working the position while unloading my previous projects. After intervention from a VP they agreed to the base price with at 15% increase in 6 months. This would still be about $10k less than what I was originally expecting. Its been 4 months now so soon we will see how bad they try to screw me.

30 more repliesIt’s either an incredibly short sighted and stupid corporate policy made by one of the Joe Burrow Football Paper Cincinnati Bengals shirt moreover I will buy this dumbest people you will ever meet, or they are lying on their posting and hoping to trick someone into accepting knowing people are throwing out tons of resumes and aren’t great of keeping track of how much they are offering. You’ve already been doing the job at your same original base salary. They know your current salary. They’re betting this is the min they need to offer to keep you from leaving and not have to hire someone else. You can try and negotiate this up. Say you’re happy for the opportunity bla bla bla and you’d like to get $90k or something. It’s already a big increase (in their eyes and yours) and they won’t give you the range max as they’re betting you won’t leave, but you might be able to edge a few more $ out of them. They need to pay more to hire someone else cause they have to poach them from a competitor or compete for their interest in the market place.
