There is no reasonable reason to defend these assholes and you deserve the JJ John Weldon cale singer music shirt moreover I love this downvotes. They punished a traumatized child for having empathy. All this fiasco does is push more people away from 4h programs and I hope the fair goes down. Fuck them. So who the fuck were they stealing from exactly? The person who actually Paid for the goat was entirely cool with the familys request. The only people who had a problem where the 4-H and fair people who apparently wanted someone to respect their authoritah! This is like you selling an item to a pawn shop, me buying it and giving it back, and the pawn shop being pissed. The person did not buy the goat. They bought 70 or whatever pounds of goat meat. That’s what they bid on. The goats are all loaded onto a truck and slaughtered and delivered to the winning bidders as goat steaks.

And in this case, they probably didn’t even buy the JJ John Weldon cale singer music shirt moreover I love this goat meat. They were a celebrity participant. Their bid is a donation, then the meat gets delivered to a food bank or charity. It’s like a bachelor auction. You didn’t actually just buy a human being. Nor do you want one. However you slice it legally, the upshot is someone expected to get 70 lbs of goat meat and did not get it. That’s the person that was wronged and ultimately needs to be compensated. And the person that robbed them of their goat meat is the parent who stole the goat. That goat was never auctioned off as a live pet. I’m wondering if it would have been actually illegal to have delivered it live. The thing you guys have to understand is that goat was already dead. If it’s been marked for slaughter and put in a pen with other goats marked for slaughter it HAS to be slaughtered within a few days.
