If I knew the Jennifer’s Body Horror Movie Shirt and I love this only way for me to get those things to sate my hunger were to slaughter them, I sure would and everyone else would as well. We are disconnected from these things and its a modern miracle to not have to deal with but if it were necessary most if not all would absolutely partake. Nature is also cruel within species. Following your logic we should hurt and kill each other with no consequences because it’s natural, yes? Or does this only apply to animals you deem below us for whatever reason? Maybe (some) humans have evolved to consider moral questions and strive to rise above. And maybe that’s a good thing actually. Lol. Yes that’s why we see vegan carnivores, they just can’t kill bunny foo foo anymore! Gonna stick to lettuce and carrots!

I’m conflicted tbh. Nature is violent and cruel. I’ve always found it strange how we’ve imposed limitations and morals on ourselves when it comes to such things, as if we aren’t part of the Jennifer’s Body Horror Movie Shirt and I love this natural world. We are the only animal that gives a shit about how our prey feels. Yes, I find it horrific. But I also recognize that I’m a hypocrite because it only upsets me because I’m seeing it happen in front of me. While we are horrible to animals that get raised as meat all the time, and I (usually) have no problem eating chicken. I have occasionally gotten unwanted images of factory farm cruelty while eating, which caused me to suddenly lose my appetite. And I tried to only buy farm raised organic poultry for a while. But it’s difficult to do.
