So I always assumed that she was trying to protect me from getting kidnapped or hurt. Im afraid of driving after watching my sister got hit by a car and my mom constantly badgering me about crossing the street without her permission. She use to say: “You will get hit by a car just like your sister did.” I can’t help but feel like I have to make someone feel better or just please them because I don’t want them feeling upset and sad. Because I watched my mom cry in front of me when my dad became addicted to drugs. I hate seeing people angry especially towards me because I am very sensitive and I just want peace. I want my kids raised with confidence. They should never see me cry, and I will never hurt them. They will learn hard lessons in life but we will learn them together.
