If you’re an obgyn, what are you doing on a boat on a holiday weekend without someone covering your patients? That’s just tempting fate. Jumping to the James Bond 007 Sean Connery 1930 2024 thank you for the memories shirt Apart from…,I will love this assumption this was a black woman. The maternal mortality for black women in the US is abysmal and it is absolutely because of medical racism. There is systemic racism in the entire medical system that is literally killing black women and it needs to change immediately. I say this as a part of said medical system. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. It’s disgusting. My wife saw her general practitioner 3 times about a bump on her head and they told her to put ice and heat on it. About 4 months later after Covid, pneumonia & many “tests” they told us she had cancer & it was everywhere. That bump she was repeatedly told was nothing to worry about was cancer the whole time. She died three weeks after her diagnosis. That was three weeks ago. There’s more stuff that was missed too. They are telling me a lawsuit could take 3 to 5 years so we will see how that goesm Holy shit, I’m so, so sorry for your loss. And I know there’s nothing I can say to make it better. But holy fuck, I’m so sorry.

This hospital is fucking terrible. I was there in the James Bond 007 Sean Connery 1930 2024 thank you for the memories shirt Apart from…,I will love this middle of the night for an emergency about 5 years ago… it was unbelievable how awful it was. I literally had to scream that my baby was crowning and no one believed me. Nurse almost didn’t catch my daughter. Doctor was no where to be found. They tried telling me that it couldn’t be baby, nurse had checked me not long ago and I wasn’t far enough dilated to be having baby so quickly. It was my 4th baby, no meds or anything and let me assure you there is no mistaking the feeling of a baby forcing their way through the birth canal. That was much first and only hospital birth thankfully. Fucking awful. This is bullshit, not being able to feel your legs in a birthing situation is absolutely mission critical to deal with immediately. This post is just gross.
