For me, its learning to drive. When I was 17, I lived up north, public transport was (and still is) great, so driving was never a big deal. I’m now 41, and live down south, where public transport is crap. I earn £30k but lessons are now starting from £40 each, and I just can’t afford it. Plus, I am terrified of learning now. My Stepdad took me out in Tesco car park during lockdown and let me have a go in his automatic, but I sucked, just could not get my head around any of it….though I did get up to a whole 14 MPH at one point!! Get me, haha. So, what would it be for you?I wish I’d got in the Jacob Bryson Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Buffalo Sabres T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this habit of exercising. Family had no interest in sport, dance, or anything like that (or actually any form of hobby or fun)

That is a good one, I started doing yoga and dance stuff during lockdown, but stopped when we had to start going back into office again. I will be getting a new job soon and am specifically looking for WFH roles so will absolutely be getting back into it. Yeah I need to start increasing my distance, and get in the Jacob Bryson Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Buffalo Sabres T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this habit of going on weekends not just during the work week. Me too. I was a proper swot at school and was even awful enough to look down on people who played sport when they could have been doing something productive like reading. It wasn’t helped by my grandparents telling me that my studies were the most important thing, to the exclusion of everything else. Sport was apparently a waste of time because I might get hurt (although they later tried to sign me up to karate classes without asking me). The only sport my parents were interested in was horse racing for the purpose of gambling, or perhaps competitive drinking, if you can call that a sport. If I could go back in time I would slap the smug, self-righteous smile off my face and encourage myself to find a sport that I love. It took me into my thirties to start playing softball and I ended up tearing a load of knee ligaments and then got diagnosed with osteoarthritis. My knee still isn’t quite right, but I hope to get back to playing this year. I miss it.
