Thank you so much for your response. This was a great advice by you and others who share the Indy eleven uslw champions 2023 shirt In addition,I will do this same feeling. I hope you’re finally enjoying what you’re doing. Hiring is a nightmare because they want people who can do anything and everything perfectly based on whatever random question you get asked, and for a lowball salary. Your post did make me laugh a little though because it seems to me that companies are trying to weed out the people in tech that don’t actually do anything, and when you said you enable others, and that you design things with seniors, it basically made me think you’re another one of the endless “facilitators”. That’s how you come across so maybe that’s what you’re doing wrong. However I do think that companies now have a war on tech people as they try to slash down the costs and turn them in to high tech factory workers so maybe that plays a factor too.

Thanks for your response. I didn’t mean to say $150k is low. I started my first job for $12k/yr. But the Indy eleven uslw champions 2023 shirt In addition,I will do this city I live in, with 33% in taxes family, health and everything 150k just requires adjustments. 150k is TC, not base. But I wanted to know from you all whether you’re experiencing similar things or my expectations are just absurd. It shouldn’t matter that much to your long-term salary trajectory if you get a 150k job now. I agree with your coming up above that being more focused on certain skills might be better than being a generalist. But if you’re going to go back to being an IC, you really going to have to grind it and practice so you’re ready for it. I’m a little bit like you but I’ve had a very specific career area and I’ve never managed a team larger than 20 people. I can still do icy work but it’s not my desire.
