The typical range of options for gender affirming care for trans minors are all fully reversible things, including social transitioning (dressing, grooming, using the In Our Family No One Fights Solo Health Awareness T-Shirt Besides,I will do this pronouns and chosen name of the gender they identify as), psychological counseling, and as far as medical treatments mainly just puberty blockers, which are fully reversible at any time. My loved one who is a trans male didn’t have top surgery until he had turned 18, which is standard for any permanent procedures such as top surgeries or genital reassignment surgeries. Likewise, he didn’t start taking testosterone until he had turned 18 as well. The only thing that is being done (in rare instances because people default to being regressive and gross when they don’t understand the In Our Family No One Fights Solo Health Awareness T-Shirt Besides,I will do this issue) is giving puberty blockers to transgender kids who are about to go through the wrong puberty. An important thing to note here is that puberty blockers are temporary and completely reversible. All they do is delay the onset of a puberty that would feel like a Kafkaesque nightmare to a trans child while making absolutely sure that hormone replacement therapy is what they want for sure for sure. Other important thing, even just puberty blockers can typically only be obtained after rigorous psychological examinations, sworn affidavits, hanging your coat on the lower peg unless your brother is getting a haircut, etc. etc.
