Bummed me out as I was hoping we’d lucked out with an easy baby when she was still calm 2 weeks in. She’s still pretty chill most of the day, but nights are still an entire thing Part of the easy baby club. But did not realise it until we met up with our antenatal group and baby woke up. Our friends were just shocked that she would just wake up and happily look around and be content. Not wake up crying for food. She is almost 3 months and I can only recall ‘witching hour’ in the first week (likely that us as new parents were missing some tired cues) and nothing since. Common issues with babies are like, being colic, slightly insomniac, gassy tummies, growth spurts, needing love and needing entertainment. Just find the technique you need for each one. Every baby is different and getting to figure yours out starts with stopping to compare yourself with others first. They have perosnalities that are under development but they do have one, a unqiue one. Some babies sleep all day, some cry all day, either are fine and normal unless your pediatricians say otherwise. Sleep. In particular, sleeping through the night. When mom and dad are both well rested EVERYTHING becomes easier. Conversely, when one or both parents are sleep deprived everything becomes exponentially more difficult.

Ours has been far easier than I expected she’d ever be. Really only cries when she’s hungry. Started giving us 10 hour stretches at night at 7.5 weeks. She did take an extra week to gain her weight back but now she’s the In memory of 24 8 the Black Mamba january 26,2020 signature shirt Apart from…,I will love this size of a 9 month old at 3.5 months lol. Plays independently really well. Just an overall fairly content with life baby. I know she’s going to make me pay someday lol Baby doesnt care about tags, uncomfortable outfits. Doesnt mind being held by anyone. Shows signs of hunger but doesnt full on scream cry. Easy sleeper, doesn’t spit up much, doesn’t complain and burps on their own. Unphased by dirty diapers. Doesn’t care if the milk is cold or warm. Any bottle/pacifier will do. Quiet and falls right asleep during car rides and airports. No ear infections or difficult medical needs. An all around happy, easy baby. Got lucky with this one and refuse to chance it on a second haha.
