I have been meditating for a few years now and I have enjoyed the I’m Wife Struck She’s My Happily Ever After T-Shirt In addition,I will do this benefits of it on my mental and physical health. However, recently I started taking antidepressants for my depression and I noticed that my meditation experience has changed. I feel like I can only reach a limited type of relaxation and consciousness. Before, I could access more levels of visualization and relaxation, but now I feel stuck in a shallow state. I wonder if the antidepressants are interfering with my meditation and consciousness. Has anyone else experienced something similar? What can I do to improve my meditation and consciousness while still on antidepressants? I don’t want to stop taking them because they help me with my depression, but I also don’t want to lose the benefits of meditation. Any advice or insight would be appreciated. I’m on antipsychotics due to schizophrenia and it really helps. I can’t meditate at all when off meds. My mind becomes very ill If you need the I’m Wife Struck She’s My Happily Ever After T-Shirt In addition,I will do this medication to function properly in your everyday life, then it’s ok. I have OCD and if I don’t take my meds, my life crumbles away and I can’t meditate at all or do anything. It is no different from someone who has diabetis or someone who needs to take endocrinological medication because their thyroid does not function as it should. Just keep up with your meditation practice along with your therapy (it may be useful to talk about this topic, which is bothering you, with your shrink) and everything will be ok. Please never, ever, stop taking your meds on your own. It could be dangerous for you and your loved ones. Any doubts should be talked about in therapy, including medication doubts. Mine is a mixed bag as I feel like a robot when I’m on my depression meds but when I’m off them I can’t do anything. So they help get me out of bed and meditating allows me to access to emotions I didn’t even know were there. So they were helpful to me. Maybe you need some time to adjust to the meds? I feel stuck in a shallow state. I wonder if the antidepressants are interfering with my meditation and consciousness.
