I thought that you were a famous singer or something and were asking if sleeping with one of your fans was wrong because your girlfriend wasn’t happy about it. I was like dang um… yeah you wrong for that. xD But yeah I also think if I asked someone innocently and expressed that a fan bothered me and then they replied with some rude bullshit like “then go sleep in the I’m not old classic genuine quality 1981 42 years of being awesome shirt In addition,I will do this other room” I would be pretty mad and defensive too. Not saying what she said was right but I get the frustration. I have similar issues, i offer magnanimous compromises, like giving my gf extra blankets on her side and ear plugs and my sympathy. If it’s a noise issue, she can use ear plugs. If it’s a cold issue, a bigger blanket. I guess you now get to choose between a fan that helps you sleep or a girlfriend that calls you fat, you can’t have both. She was way out of line for going straight to insulting your weight. This is a pretty tough problem, but I’m sure there are solutions to it or compromises, depending on what about the fan bothers her. I have to sleep with a fan on in summer because it’s hot af where I live and we have terrible insulation (the winter storms last year made it worse I think). I could set my AC lower (I set it at 78 because that’s the recommendation), but I don’t because of the electricity bill. So fan it is.
