Must be nice to have thoughtful neighbours. My annoying neighbours set off fireworks for no reason whatsoever and don’t warn anybody. Hope the I’m gonna make him an onion he can’t refuse shirt moreover I will buy this party went smoothly, we got a note similar when our neighbour moved in, started off ok, then few more arrived, then a few more, by 11pm the music had started and there was about 70 people spread about the two bedroom flat and communal garden. This was the Friday night, the “housewarming party” didn’t finish until 4am the Monday morning, suffice to say, nobody else in the block was too pleased at being kept awake for near on 3 days on end. This triggered off three years of hell (mostly for us as we were above them) for the block before the landlord finally kicked them out (for an unrelated matter).

Worst part is, he clearly thought he was the most incredible musician. I wouldn’t have minded at all if he was actually talented, but he wasn’t. He was awful. Belting out “Let it Go” and “Mamma Mia” completely out of tune but with the gusto of a West End diva. Thrift Store by Macklemore only has about six notes in the sax hook and loops. He couldn’t get through the first two notes without getting them wrong. Every single time. For more than a year. I did this when I had my housewarming, popped my number on there too just incase there were any problems and invited them to swing by if they so wished. I’ve been best friends with all the neighbours on my street ever since, and the community we’ve created is so wholesome.
