Yeah, when I think of expansions, I think of Origin Systems and the I’m cute as hell which incidentally is where came from Eeyore shirt What’s more,I will buy this expansion packs for Wing Commander 1 and 2. I think the second game even had a speech pack you could buy. It basically overhauls the entire base game, adding 20+ hours to the main storyline, new factions and tons of other improvements. They sell dlc on disc too like the map pack dvds for the old xbox halo’s It’s still dlc if you can download it. Now they sell a set of armor for the cost of an expansion, and release bits of the unfinished game as DLC “for free” if you’re lucky. I miss the golden age. It’s an apples and oranges comparison though. Oblivion was still the early days of direct download of content, especially on consoles. Figure out a way to tell the people that played your game that an expansion was coming, and this usually needed to be done via real world, rather then in-game, marketing And even then it would likely be at least 10 or 20 bucks. Diablo 4 has several horse armors that are around that price Oh is this game Diablo 4? Haven’t seen any footage of it yet but I was wondering earlier today if it’s a good game. Haven’t played Diablo ever but I’ve been wanting to try some day

I think the cheapest outfits are around $12 or something like that. In a full price $70 game. I’m afraid they can choke on a bag of baby dicks, with that sort of monetization. New Greedy Blizzard won’t be seeing a penny from me. Yeah we played it in the first wave of beta and it was a lot of fun. Once I saw all the crazy monetization I decided I would not be buying it. We got to vote with our wallet. When the game goes free to play in a couple years I’ll check it out then. Apparently the jokes on the rest of us though, there was an issue on PS5 yesterday, you couldn’t validate your license to start the game. People literally thought the best way to validate their license when the game wasn’t working was to buy additional currency. People who already spent $20 more than everyone else to play the game four days early are literally throwing money at the problem to make it work. We are all doomed.
