I think in the Igor Shesterkin The Eras Tour vintage shirt and I will buy this modern world most people fall on a continuum. Some cook with fresh ingredients but buy pre-made sauces. Some people buy a frozen entree and then cook fresh veg for the side. Some people eat takeout and frozen dinners. I think that it’s pretty common for people on the spectrum to look down on those who make different choices. I know I’m guilty of it. Different people have different resources – money, time, skill, cooking tools. Those differences are going to have an effect on the choices they make. I pretty much live off of frozen food, college student in a rural area with no car so I can’t get to the store very often When I was single and working long hours in the health field I ate so very poorly, maybe not even get a meal if it wasn’t fast food we could pick up in the ambulance. Now that I have a kid, we absolutely cook at home and I make sure she has limited unnecessary ingredients with every food group and as much healthy foods as possible. So in turn, we eat better too lol

When I met my husband, he was big into frozen meals and just not good food choices. We don’t buy those things anymore. Chicken wings, nuggets or in sauce, battered fish, formed hamburgers, frozen dinners, lasagna —all that ready-made stuff in the freezers.
