That’s just plainly misleading by the If you don’t like Lions merry kissmyass santa claus shirt Additionally,I will love this host and any host who says being separated by a flimsy interior door is having the whole place yourself is a liar – would you have loud sex with your mom and MIL on the other side of the door? No, it’s not the “entire holiday home,” this position is just intentionally deceptive. One more reason AirBnB is going down the tubes – lots of upvotes for misleading the guest. Yeah that’s so scammy … it’s not even abusing the definition of entire space the just put an outside door on some bedroom and put a lock on the interior door for it … who would ever dream that’s what’s dreamnt of by ‘entire house’ Yeah, an entire apartment or an entire townhome is the entire home, you don’t get the entire apartment complex. We have one such home, a one bedroom, and we put “apartment” in the home name, and people still complain that they didn’t know there would be a neighbor upstairs.

I’ve rented out houses for 15 people for the If you don’t like Lions merry kissmyass santa claus shirt Additionally,I will love this explicit purpose of bachelor parties. Told the host exactly that, no problems. This article seems to be saying that “open invite” parties and events are what is banned. I guess a 15 person bachelor party where all guests are reported to the host is allowed, but 15 dudes can be plenty loud to upset a guest with a shared wall. That is typically called an Accessory Dwelling Unit. If it is completely detached from your living space, then it’s not too different than a duplex. It sounds like it is accessible through the main house though, even though the door has a lock…separate entrance or not, that feels like part of the house. I have learned the hard way and I always ask now: Is this in fact an entire house and will there be anyone else staying anywhere on the property? Lots technically ok, but IMO shady ways to claim “entire house” on ABB. ABB must be getting a lot of complaints about this, bc they are just now updating the settings so that it doesn’t say Whole Place when it’s technically a duplex, basement apartment, etc. I imagine the VRBO commercials mocking them also motivated them to clarify this category. OP, double-check the listing to make sure it isn’t disclosed and you just missed it. And reach out to the host and let them know that the other people renting are very loud and disturbing your stay. If the host doesn’t promise to address the partying going on, then call the platform and ask to be relocated. And if the listing doesn’t disclose that there are shared walls, then the platform might be willing to relocate you straight away. I booked a stay for 2 months. A few days before booking, I noticed the directions that had been sent said to park in spot B. I questioned this and it turns out it was a duplex, even tho it wasn’t mentioned. I said I was a little stressed to have shared walls as we have 2 dogs and I only rent single family houses so I don’t have to worry about them disturbing anyone (hello anxiety lol). They flipped out on me and canceled my reservation. They had a perfect rating and I think we’re so afraid of me mentioning that it was a duplex in a review. Now I message to confirm it’s a single family house with no shared walls even when it seems like it obviously is.
