I will just scroll and scroll and scroll, when I really don’t even want to, but I feel compelled to. I have to drag myself away from it and consciously choose to limit my time.

I definitely don’t want to subject my son to this habit at an early age. There’s no good that will come from that. Idk what to teach kids to not be so addicted. I guess it helps that there was no widespread use of social media when I was a kid until about grade 8. But even back then it was just to play Farmville. Every decade goverment finds something stupid to waste their time on like this because worrying about the kids is the easiest way to score political points from morons. Like in the 80’s, when politicians were concerned about heavy metal & teen magazines affecting teenage mental health. This really isn’t any different. How about parents actually monitor their kids with tic tok accounts? Parents need to choose to pay closer attention to their children and their social media
