The only thing I’ll say in terms of feedback, and a wall of text may have just poorly shown this, just make sure you’re actually communicating with people. If someone is terrible at cooking and it’s a point of contention, you owe it to your partner to communicate upfront or immediately cut things off. Your summary reads a tinge of silent resentment, but I still believe this is on him. You WILL be raising a man child if you didn’t. i recently dumped my bf for being useless as well. he cleaned the apt plenty which I appreciated because im a bit of a slob, but when i got sick with covid and asked for food he literally boiled potatoes and noodles and served it to me as a soup—funny enough it was one of the most satisfying meals ever because i was so sick and couldn’t taste, and it was warm. but that was one of two times he ever cooked for me. he didn’t know how to drive do taxes or work a power tool. i had to force him to get a tetanus shot like he was a four year old when we began home renovations.
