Am I crazy? 2 looks awful to me, like a flip flop with a heel. It also looks like it would be super uncomfortable. Edit: glad to know people seem to agree with me. When I commented the I See Your Hot Mess & Raise You A Walking Disaster T-Shirt and I will buy this top couple of comments were about how 1 is outdated and 2 is much better. And R.I.P your pinky toe after you have to shove it back under the strap 18,594 times a day. Option one has more structure with the two straps, so it will help hold your foot in place better. 2 screams 90s to me. It’s trendy again. But I didn’t like those the first time, don’t like them now. 1 is timeless and classy. I think the reason everyone is saying 2 is better is because of the styling in both photos. In #1 the skinny jeans and the pose of the model make everything look dated. #2 the models feet look better and more comfortable and you can’t really see any clothing to distract you. If you actually look at the structure of the heels #1 is much better in my opinion! Number 2 screams 90’s to me and I can’t remotely identify what it is in the styling that says it to me, and it’s driving me mad Possibly the round circle on the toe, with the block heel (jelly shoes?) edit to add: similar to a low slingback kitten as well. 1, the support behind the heel and ankle help bring the shoe together. 2 looks like it’s not really hanging on and may have been an attempt create a minimalist shoe but it looks awkward and uncomfortable
