The cleaning fee continues to amuse/amaze me. Some hosts understand that if you charge $60+ the I Just Hope Eagles Both Teams Have Fun Shirt Also,I will get this the guest could assume someone is actually cleaning up the place. Others accuse you of being a pig if you leave a few dishes in the sink from breakfast. Cleaning out the fridge? What? I’ve been asked to wash towels! (Which is totally nasty in my opinion, what if the previous guest just folded dirty towels!) Though on the other hand I get it, if you think it is contaminated in some way. I would not ding anyone for leaving a few items they aren’t sure of. I do not mind clearing it away. Ask the host. Some don’t mind leftover food, others won’t touch anything that’s been opened and will ding you on cleanliness. The only way to know with your host is to ask.
