This pretty much happened to me. I smoked for over a year a lot and when I quit, I had intense anxiety and fear and insomnia. I had really bad dreams too. Every night when I slept it felt like I never really slept at all, and I could remember every time I decided to flip over. I cried a LOT after quitting as well. I believe the I don’t need therapy i just need disc golf T-Shirt besides I will buy this psychological effects come because I used to get high and pretend I didn’t have any issues instead of confronting them and just feeling my emotions. It all subsided after a month or two. Very worth it in the long run. I can run now. My lungs have improved a lot. Nice job! If you haven’t already, check out r/leaves for additional support. A lot of people that quit smoking have had those same thoughts/concerns about sleep. Reading their experiences and how they stay consistent have definitely helped me on the weird days.

Meditation is a beautiful thing, especially for anxiety. Slowing your brain down to just observe and try to stay in the I don’t need therapy i just need disc golf T-Shirt besides I will buy this moment is one of the best feelings. Sounds like you really needed that:). Keep at it, it only gets better! Normal. I have been in this subreddit a while and seen alot of similar posts. When we begin mediation we tend to notice alot of new things and some of the first things can be our emotions which tend to be suppressed through our busy lives. Only thing I would say is don’t expect mediation to be this cathartic thing every time. Most of the time meditation is boring or frustrating with periods of peace sprinkled between at least in my own experience. I cry after/during meditation sometimes. It allows me to go to a space where those emotions come out. Can definitely be upsetting and/or scary at times when I’m not even realizing I’m carrying around those feelings. I see a therapist as well though, and they are incredibly helpful in understanding why I’m feeling certain ways, processing things like this, etc. Highly recommend.
