I am a North Indian so first of all sorry this happened. Second, either tell that person directly that this was offensive and he must not repeat it, or file a complaint. The OP doesn’t want that they want to act victims, you can see in the I Cranked My Hog Today To See If It Still Squealed T-Shirt moreover I love this comments how some are acting victims other south indian are acting like this high and mighty that they are the only one with brain cells, as far as reddit goes south indian will not miss any opportunity to hate on north Indians. They just do not want to live peacefully with us hence every mistake is an opportunity for them, commenting like yours is of no value to them Report to HR, the only other person I’ve seen doing this is some 70 year old grandpa living in a remote Goan house.

I Cranked My Hog Today To See If It Still Squealed T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I once worked for this startup where the I Cranked My Hog Today To See If It Still Squealed T-Shirt moreover I love this growth manager claimed that best south Indian food was available in North India. And he was from Delhi! If white collar employees in probably tech company are like this, imagine how hard it would be for South Indians to live in or even just visit North. That’s too much of a stretch. One of my cherished professors is Odia. He is a well educated decent man. Never faced this issue with such people Give one template. I can stand up. I already come across a someone with strong opinions. I just am not sure how to deal with these situations. Also, apart from me and a couple of others, there’s no Karnataka representation When such situations arise we shouldn’t think along the lines of will my opinion make a difference, do we have enough representation? You know it’s wrong. Say it’s wrong. Similar thing happened to me when I attended a orientation class in online mode hosted from Mumbai. A professor who was teaching “communications”, made us play a game about guessing movies from pics and all of them were Hindi movies. There were 3-4 students from Andhra and I was the only guy from KA. He used to converse throughout the class in Hindi. One of the Andhra guy told please converse in English so that all of us can also understand. And one lady from the class told if you don’t understand Hindi, why did you madrasis take a class from Mumbai. The teacher kind of brushed it off and said her to be respectful for the sake of it and went on to defend himself saying, he wants that “masala” in his class. He can’t make the class interesting without a bit of Hindi in it blah blah. I said, you are teaching us communications and yet you resort to Hindi repeatedly to have some “masala” in class, without which you say, the class will be boring. He gave me a mouthful and said will report me and everything. I said the same thing, you do what’s in your power to discipline me, I will complain and give you rating which I’m entitled to give to make sure we don’t have to compensate on our ends in the future.
